Drawing on Géraldine’s deep French heritage and Daniel’s admiration for the timeless Calvados of Normandy, the duo embarked on an ambitious journey: to craft a world-class apple brandy with Irish character at its core.

Five years ago, that dream took its first steps. Through meticulous distillation of their finest ciders, they began aging what would become Orr Irish Apple Brandy—a spirit shaped by patience, tradition, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

This inaugural batch of Orr Irish Apple brandy is a blend of brandy from 4 different cask types:

• First fill Limousin Oak providing rich apple aromas with lots of vanilla and honey from the oak.

• First fill Oloroso Sherry balances the brandy with nutty and baking spice aromatics.

• First fill Burgundy red wine provides a nice tannic backbone with lots of dried fruits

• Virgin French Oak adding lighter and fresher floral aromatics for greater complexity.
